Owner
Designated Broker
Hannah Cano
As principal and Designated Broker of Candon Property Group, Hannah Cano brings fifteen years of broad experience in operations management, asset optimization, and brokerage across diverse and complex commercial real estate portfolios.
Previously, Hannah served as the Operations Manager and Commercial Broker at Saratoga Commercial Real Estate (2015–2025). During her tenure, Hannah modernized Saratoga’s systems and technology, developed property-specific strategies to enhance CAM budgets and investment returns, guided asset managers, and was a top producing broker, where she closed sophisticated leasing and sales transactions.
As a seasoned commercial real estate broker, Hannah provides strategic guidance and transactional expertise in leasing, sales, and tenant representation across retail, office, industrial, multifamily, and land assets. Known for bringing both creativity and experience to every transaction, Hannah delivers tailored solutions that align with each client’s goals and maximize value.
Hannah is a graduate of the University of San Francisco with a focus in sociology and urban planning and holds a Washington State Managing Broker License. Hannah takes great pride in working with several non-profit organizations throughout Whatcom, Skagit, and Snohomish Counties, and she also has served on the board of Lake Whatcom Residential Treatment Center for the past several years.
Combining analytical insight, creativity, and a client-first approach, Hannah is dedicated to driving operational excellence, profitability, and long-term success for property owners and investors.

Luke Reardon
Luke Reardon is an owner and principal at Candon Property Group. He is a team-oriented real estate professional with deep experience in commercial asset management and brokerage, complemented by a cross-disciplinary background in consulting, technology, and professional coaching. Luke has managed and advised on commercial property portfolios, overseeing asset performance, landlord and tenant leasing, and transactional strategy, while consistently focusing on alignment, execution, and results.
In addition to his real estate work, Luke brings strong expertise in marketing, go-to-market strategy, and project management, allowing him to effectively bridge strategy and execution across complex initiatives. His structured, analytical, and people-focused approach enables him to collaborate seamlessly with owners, tenants, and stakeholders to deliver practical, value-driven outcomes.
Luke holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington, where he was a member of the men’s soccer team. He is driven by continuous improvement and a commitment to excellence, consistently seeking opportunities to expand his expertise and create meaningful, long-term value.

Meredith LaPlante
Meredith LaPlante provides operational and administrative support across the firm, contributing to the execution of internal processes that support the company’s commercial property management and brokerage activities. Her responsibilities include bookkeeping support, assisting in coordinating work and operational needs, and maintaining records. Meredith’s proactive approach and reliability help ensure the firm’s operations remain organized, responsive, and aligned with best practices. Meredith is also a licensed real estate broker in Washington.
Meredith brings to Candon a diverse and impressive background, having both her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology as well as her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Califonia, Irvine and Bachelor of Arts in Classic Languages, focusing in Latin from Claremont McKenna College. With over 35 years of distinguished experience in real estate litigation and transactions, Stephen R. Thames brings deep expertise to the advisory board of Candon Property Group.
As a former partner at Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP—California's premier law firm specializing in real estate matters—Steve has litigated high-stakes disputes involving commercial leasing, purchase and sale transactions, property development, title issues, construction defects, and environmental compliance.
A 1982 graduate of UCLA School of Law, Thames was consistently selected to Best Lawyers in America® in Real Estate Litigation, and for over 20 years received the Martindale-Hubbell AV Preemin ent® Rating from both judges and fellow attorneys for the highest ethical standards and legal ability.
His ability to dissect intricate property issues, mitigate risks in brokerage and management operations, and advise on preventive legal strategies for clients in the commercial real estate sector makes him an invaluable asset for guiding Candon Property Group in an increasingly complex and competitive market.

Jeff Hanson
Jeff Hanson serves as a strategic advisor to Candon Property Group, guiding the firm’s business development, operations, and long-term growth strategy. With extensive experience in commercial real estate, asset management, and capital markets, Jeff brings a results-driven perspective to identifying opportunities, optimizing performance, and strengthening organizational foundations.
Jeff currently serves as Executive Chairman of American Healthcare REIT, one of the nation’s leading real estate investment trusts. Over his career, he has led and advised multi-billion-dollar real estate enterprises, including as Chairman and CEO of Griffin-American Healthcare REIT III and IV and as a founding principal of American Healthcare Investors, formerly the world’s largest privately held healthcare real estate investment firm. He also spearheaded the growth of Griffin-American Healthcare REIT II, building a $3 billion international portfolio that sold for $4 billion in 2014.
Earlier in his career, Jeff served as an executive officer at Grubb & Ellis Company, where he oversaw investment management operations across public REITs, joint ventures, and private syndications, leading a national platform of more than 600 professionals.
A graduate of the University of Southern California with an MBA in Real Estate Finance, Jeff combines financial acumen with strategic insight to help organizations scale sustainably, enhance market positioning, and drive long-term value across sales, leasing, and portfolio management.
